Self-Compassion Courses

Self-Compassion is at the Core of all my offerings because so many of us experience disconnect between the way we are and the way we think we should be.

Self-Compassion is the antidote to this belief.

It gets us unstuck.

Most of us don't know self-compassion is the missing piece to our healing and thriving until we try it.

Examples of Past Compassion Courses

  • Nurture the Nurturer

    Introduction to Mindful Compassion

Research shows that especially women find it easier to extend compassion to others than toward themselves. If we add to this, the challenging societal expectations often placed on parents, we find that many are left in a self-diminishing cycle of burnout and feelings of not being good enough.

Many of us subscribe to the belief that our worthiness and belonging is contingent upon what we achieve, produce, or do, rather than who we are.

We mistake success and external validation for self-worth.

The truth is that you can’t do more or perform better in order to feel good enough and experience inner peace.

Revolutionizing how we approach success and wellbeing

This is not another self-improvement project or a band aid of self-care. It’s about transforming how you relate to yourself and your possibilities from the inside out.

Whether you are battling burnout and overwhelm or are in the midst of healing, this approach will help you learn a sustainable approach that includes caring for yourself the same way you would a dear friend.

The prerequisite for true transformation is compassionate acceptance. This means presence and kindness with what’s here - in us, our situation, and those around us.

For thousands of years, compassion has been regarded as the most powerful way to help us cope with the ups and downs of life, tricky minds, challenging relationships and to promote wellbeing.

Brain science is now also revealing this to be the most pragmatic strategy due to its impact on our happiness and ability to reach our goals.

The scientific lens is confirming these benefits in the form of reprogramed nervous systems and rewired brains with the creation of neural pathways for feeling empowered, creative, safe, and loving for optimal performance and wellbeing.

Entering a Compassionate Paradigm

What if regardless of how you measured up according to external metrics of success, you treated yourself like a loved child or a good friend when you were hurting?

This approach to wellbeing and success is not yet popular opinion in our modern world, but it’s supported by both research and ancient spiritual traditions.

It is linked to positive states like happiness and wellbeing as well as a reduction in negative states such as depression and anxiety, without decreasing our motivation or ability to get things done.
